The clients are based in Russia and are used to organizing holidays either in France, Antibes (a seaport in SE France ) or in Armenia, Dilijan (a spa town and urban municipal community in the Tavush Province of Armenia).
Antibes is a popular location for beach holidays, while Dilijan offers the clean air and charm of forested mountains. In terms of architectural solutions, volume and facade, the building is a projection of the clients’ preferences: the sea and the mountains. The house is located in Dilijan town.
The 2400 m² land is situated between two streets in Dilijan. In designing the 250m2 house and its adjacent 150 m² secondary building (along with a 15 m² BBQ area), the studio aimed to reflect and echo the surrounding landscape. The two entrances were placed at the highest and lowest points of the plot, which correspond to the first floor
