Adapting to the timbre of the modern world calls for shaping spaces as dynamically and comfortably as possible. But comfort has ceased to be the only precondition. Nowadays, to make our lives complete, we need aesthetics.
Founded in 2012 by Rafael Agafonov, Agafonov Architects has specialized in interior design of residential areas over the past years, as well as public spaces and architectural designs. The construction work of most of the projects implemented by the studio were completed with the help of the studio’s coordination.
Rafael has worked on a number of residential, state and public buildings since 2008, including such projects as the reconstruction of Yerevan State Medical University and the renovation of schools financed by the All-Armenian Fund. Rafael Agafonov is currently a professor at the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts.
Since 2012, Agafonov Architects has implemented a number of remote projects in different countries like Russia and Denmark.
As a result of Agafonov Architects' many years of experience, the studio has adopted a working concept which prioritizes competent, balanced solutions via an individual approach, all the while maintaining a unique style.
